Map in a Drawer
As a kid, like 10-12 or so, I was intrigued by one particular spot on a map I found in my grandfather’s drawer. It was a huge swamp, a former peat mining area with a few locations marked as “Workers’ village №1“, “Workers’ village №2“ etc. In 2021 I got an opportunity to visit this area and what remained from those settlements.
